Tommy Lee Jones’s daughter Victoria was found dead at a luxury San Francisco hotel aged 34, with newly emerged details adding further uncertainty around the circumstances of her death.
A guest on the 14th floor alerted staff in the early hours of New Year’s Day after seeing her on the ground and believing she might be “drunk”, according to the Daily Mail.
Hotel staff quickly realised she was unresponsive, began CPR and called emergency services.

Emergency response and investigation status
The San Francisco Fire Department said it received a call for medical assistance at 2.52am on January 1 at the Fairmont San Francisco.
Despite efforts by first responders, Victoria was pronounced dead at the scene. Police and the Medical Examiner also attended.
Her cause of death has not yet been determined.
Yet, sources say there were no signs of foul play, no drug paraphernalia found and no indication that she took her own life.
The San Francisco Police Department is asking anyone with information about her tragic death to get in contact.
The scene was also attended by the San Francisco Police Department and the San Francisco Medical Examiner.
A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department said, “On 1/1/26 at approximately 3:14 a.m., San Francisco Police officers responded to a hotel located on the 900 block of Mason Street regarding a report of a deceased person.
“At the scene, officers met with medics, who declared the adult female deceased. The Medical Examiner arrived on scene and conducted an investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the SFPD at 415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the message with SFPD.”
Recent run-in with the law
It remains unclear whether Victoria was staying at the hotel or how she came to be on the 14th floor.
However, court records obtained by the New York Post show that she had been arrested several times over the past year.
In April, she was detained in Napa County on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of a narcotic controlled substance.
A month later the outlet reports, she was arrested in Santa Cruz County, before being taken into custody again in Napa County in June on allegations of domestic battery and domestic violence or elder abuse, after which she was released on bail.
Records show that Jones pleaded not guilty in both Napa County cases.
Family background and career
Victoria was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley.
The former couple were married from 1981 to 1996 and share two children, including son Austin.
As a child, Victoria appeared in a handful of acting roles, including the Western The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, directed by her father.
She also appeared in an episode of One Tree Hill in 2005.
Victoria did not continue acting as an adult but was occasionally seen on red carpets with her father, including the 2017 premiere of Just Getting Started and at the Tokyo International Film Festival, where Jones served as jury president.
The investigation into her death is ongoing.
