Victoria Beckham wants to perform at Glastonbury with Spice Girls, says Mel C

Mel C has said that the Spice Girls would love to perform at Glastonbury - including Victoria Beckham.

The group famously reunited in 2019 and toured the UK, with Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner singing their hearts out on stage.

Victoria, 47, was notably absent from the line-up, but Mel has insisted that she would love to join the girls on stage.

Appearing on Lorraine today, she spoke to guest host Ranvir Singh about the prospect of the Spice Girls singing at Worthy Farm.

Ranvir asked: "So will we see you on the Legend's Stage at Glastonbury next year?"

Gasping, Mel said: "Oh my gosh, that would be amazing. That's the dream. We'd love to do it, we'd absolutely love to do it?"

Ranvir probed: "All of you would love to do it? Is everyone on board?"

"Not to speak out of turn, but between you and I, I know that Mrs Beckham would love to do Glastonbury," she said. "But I know it's something that's been rumoured a lot and it's never really been seriously talked about.

"But we do constantly talk about getting back on stage because the shows in 2019 were incredible and we'd love to do it again once the world allows."

Mel also spoke about her work with the Prince's Trust and explained how the last year had been difficult as "young women have been affected a lot".

She also revealed how coming to the studio today had sparked her anxiety.

The singer went on to speak about working while parenting her 12-year-old daughter Scarlett with ex Thomas Starr, who she split from in 2012.

"I've been lucky to be able to schedule things around school," she explained.

She previously opened up about how motherhood had given her the strength to break up with her boyfriend.

Appearing on Radio 4's Desert Island Discs, she said: "She has made me braver. She has made me stand up for myself more.

"I make big decisions. Leaving her dad was hard but I wasn’t happy and she wasn’t happy, and it wasn’t the environment I wanted my child to grow up in.

"I couldn’t have done that without the strength that I got from her."
