Victoria Beckham sparks Spice Girls reunion rumours after ‘tempting’ Oasis gig Instagram post

Victoria Beckham has sent Spice Girls fans into overdrive after hinting she might be tempted to rejoin the iconic girl group, just as rumours of a 30th anniversary tour swirl.

On Sunday night the designer, 50, shared Instagram footage from Oasis’s sold-out Wembley show, panning across the roaring crowd with the single word “Tempting…”, while tagging her former bandmates Geri Horner, Mel C, Emma Bunton and Mel B.

The post quickly lit up social media.

Victoria Beckham teasing something about the Spice Girls,” one posted on X. “Hmmmm...”

A second added: “DID VICTORIA BECKHAM JUST HIT A SPICE GIRLS TOUR ?!? ON HER IG STORY ?!? OMGGG...

“victoria beckham posting about how tempting watching oasis perform is and tagging all the girls… you guys, we have never been this back i am on the floor.”

Victoria attended the gig with husband David, their daughter Harper, 14, sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, plus Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel.

The fashion mogul documented the family night out in a series of playful Instagram stories, including a snap of Cruz and Jackie sharing a kiss and a video of Harper looking unimpressed as Cruz and David belted out Oasis’s 1994 hit Supersonic on the car ride home.

Victoria even gave a subtle nod to Britpop style in a parka jacket, though she swerved the bucket-hat trend her husband embraced.

Before heading to the gig she cheekily filmed David debating what to wear.

Her teasing post comes amid mounting speculation that the Spice Girls are secretly planning a 30th anniversary world tour.

Industry insiders have claimed the group have been quietly working on a reunion for months, a comeback that could see “Posh Spice” finally join the others on stage for the first time since their brief 2012 Olympics appearance.

In May, The Sun reported that fans could experience the Spice Girls could follow in the footsteps of ABBA and stage a concert using digital avatars.

According to the outlet, Simon Fuller, the Spice Girls' former manager, pitched the concept to the band and they were considering it.

Fuller masterminded ABBA's hugely successful ABBA Voyage project.

Fans have been eagerly waiting for a full tour that would see all five members reunite on stage, especially with the 30th anniversary of their hit song Wannabe approaching in 2026.

In 2019, partial hopes were fulfilled when Mel C, Mel B, Geri, and Emma toured, but Victoria opted out.

While she firmly ruled out a full reunion tour in 2024, reports indicate that she may be open to the hologram version of the group.

A source close to the band told the outlet: “Simon is desperate to have one last hurrah with the Spice Girls and this is his latest idea.

“Touring again looks unlikely – someone like Victoria for example is never going to be a ‘working member’ of the Spice Girls – so this seems like the best option.”

The insider added: “Even Victoria said she would be behind it if all of them had agreed. She wouldn’t stop it.”

In March, Geri told The Sunday Times that “there will be something” to coincide with the 30th anniversary of their hit song Wannabe.
