Victoria Beckham says she's a 'girl's girl' amid rumoured feud with son Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz

Victoria Beckham has said she’s a “girl’s girl” and you would have be a “real a*****e” for her not to get along with.

Victoria, 51, made the comments on Andy Cohen's radio show on Sirius XM, which have raised a few eyebrows given the rumoured feud between Victoria and her son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola.

The comments were in response to Andy asking if Victoria got on with other WAGs early in her career.

“I did,” she said. “I’m a girl's girl.

“I mean you've got to be a real a*****e for me to not get on with you if you're a woman.”

She continued: “Because I love, I love women, you know, and that's part of the reason why I do what I do with fashion and beauty.”

“I want to empower women. Yes. And I want to share my tips and tricks with women.”

Rumours have swirled about a rift between Brooklyn and his family after the 26-year-old was notably absent from a number of high-profile family events.

The rumours of a potential feud were worsened when Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz did not attend the premiere for Victoria Beckham’s documentary.

But when challenged by a reporter from the Daily Mail on the subject, Brooklyn refused to answer.

The reporter asked: “What do you think of your mum’s documentary?” before Brooklyn strode off.

He can be seen returning back inside the event, which he was hosting with celebrity chef Rachael Ray to promote his new hot sauce brand, Cloud23.

Earlier this month, Brooklyn was also absent from the launch event of Victoria’s new collection at Paris Fashion Week – despite it being attended by husband David Beckham and Brooklyn’s siblings: Harper, Cruz and Romeo.

When Brooklyn was attending the Ryder Cup Celebrity All-Star Match, he previously told the Mail: “There’s always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife.”

It was reported earlier this week David and Victoria have sparked anger among neighbours after submitting plans for a new access road at their £12 million Cotswolds home.

The couple want permission to upgrade an agricultural track into a tarmac road leading directly to their mansion near Great Tew, Oxfordshire.

It is understood they hope to avoid sharing the existing route with guests of Soho Farmhouse — the upmarket members’ club and “rural escape” known for its pool, spa and celebrity clientele.

One neighbour lodged a strong objection, arguing the proposal would disrupt those walking in the area.

Joan Lane wrote: “I must strongly object to this proposal.

“The house already has one perfectly serviceable access road so why is another stretch of tarmac laid through the woods deemed a good idea.

“Ramblers use the lane and they should be left undisturbed by giant SUVs lumbering up and down. Please do not allow this application.”

Soho Farmhouse attracts hundreds of visitors in the summer, including influencers heading to enjoy country pursuits such as clay pigeon shooting — often speeding along the current shared road.

But the Beckhams appear to have run out of patience and have asked West Oxfordshire District Council to approve a change of use for part of the track, linking it to their existing driveway.

The couple's planning agent described the proposal as a "modest, sensitively designed conversion" which would "modestly upgrade the existing crossover and gates at Ledwell Lane for safe residential use".
