Victoria Beckham jokes she'd rather die than wear Justin Bieber's purple Crocs

Victoria Beckham savagely told Justin Bieber that she'd rather die than wear the purple Crocs he sent her as a gift.

Th former Spice Girls star took to her Instagram story to reveal Justin's new brand of lilac Crocs, but she wasn't a big fan.

When the 47-year-old fashion designer received the purple shoes, outfitted with tiny creature attachments in her mail today, her reaction was everything you'd imagine and more.

In a picture showing the 27-year-old Canadian singer’s latest slippers collection, Victoria shared a poll asking her followers if she should be wearing them.

Surprisingly, the results came close to a tie, with 57% of people voting no, and 43% voting yes.

Joking that she'd dodged a bullet, she wrote: “Well that was close!

"I think I’d rather die but thank you anyway @justinbieber," adding a laughing emoji.

Victoria is known for her impeccable style, and she made a name for herself in the fashion world after creating a state-of-the-art luxury designer brand in 2008.

Her fashion line is estimated to be worth £100m today.

It therefore comes as no surprise that the mother-of-four and wife of legendary footballer David Beckham categorically refused to wear the shoes that most would say are an acquired taste.

She later shared on her Insta-story a post from Dazed Fashion headlining her hilarious previous story reading: “Victoria Beckham would ‘rather die’ than wear Justin Bieber ’s crocs”.

This time she wrote “The Beckhams still love you @justinbieber,” with another laughing emoji and hearts.

As funny as Victoria’s social media activity was today, Justin’s new Crocs line did, in fact, sell out.

This is the pop star’s second collection with Drew House in collaboration with Crocs.

The popular lavender clogs, deck with oversized Jibbitz charms inspired by characters from the Drew House community sold for $69.99 a pair (approximately £50).
