Victoria Beckham says she couldn't be happier after her eldest son Brooklyn announced his engagememt.
Brookyln, 21, took to Instagram to confirm reports that he's set to tie the knot to the stunning actress.
Sharing a picture of them together that showed Nicola wearing her engagement ring, he wrote: "Two weeks ago I asked my soul mate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world.
"I promise to be the best husband and daddy one day.
"I love you baby."
Afterwards, Victoria, who shares Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper with husband David, gushed about the happy news.
Sharing the picture on her own Instagram account, she wrote: "The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married!
"Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven"
Nicola commented on the post to thank her future mother-in-law.
She wrote: "i love you so so much victoria i’m the luckiest girl"
Victoria's famous friends also got involved.
Elle McPherson commented: "Such great news. congratulations to you all."
And her adoring fans shared their own messages of congratulations.
Brooklyn's brothers also celebrated the news on their own accounts.
Romeo, 17, shared the sweet snap on his Instagram story, writing: "Congratulations @nicolaannapeletz @brooklynbeckham".
Cruz, 15, did the same, adding: "LOVE YOU"
Brookyln's engagement was first revealed by the Mirror.
A source had told us: "Brooklyn has been telling his friends in LA that he and Nicola are engaged. It’s common knowledge among their group of friends. They are smitten."
The insider added that David and Victoria were delighted by the news.
They said: "David and Victoria have very much given this relationship their blessing.
"It’s a very exciting time for the whole family and after a few previous rocky relationships, they think Brooklyn has landed on his feet."
Brooklyn recently returned to the UK to reunite with his famous family at their Cotswolds mansion after he was stranded in the US due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He spent months isolating with Nicola, and it's clear they've realised just how much they love each other.
The pair confirmed their romance back in January.
