Victoria Beckham celebrates 49th birthday with gushing tribute from David

Victoria Beckham is celebrating her 49th birthday with her nearest and dearest family members as husband David Beckham shared a gushing tribute.

The popstar turned fashion designer is spending her birthday with her husband David, and their four children - Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 11 - as well as daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, 28. Victoria shared snaps of her out for dinner with her close family where she could be seen blowing out the candles on her birthday cake.

Paying tribute to his beloved wife, former England captain David shared a black and white photo of himself and Victoria where the former Spice Girls star can be seen with a beaming smile. In the throwback snap, David, 47, is pictured planting a kiss on Victoria's nose as she smiles widely for the camera.

He captioned the adorable pic: "Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife and mummy x someone who inspires us every single day we love you and you deserve to have the most perfect day happy Birthday @victoriabeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven."

Sharing a photo eating a slab of birthday cake, Victoria posed alongside David as he beamed beside his wife. Holding a forkful of cake up to her mouth, Victoria captioned the pic: "Celebrating meeeeeee!! last night. I love u all so much!! We miss u @romeobeckham! Kisses @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven xx."

Footballer Romeo, 20, shared a loving post to his mum alongside a picture of the pair cuddled up together. He wrote: "Happy birthday to the best mum out there love you so much."

Even Victoria's former Spice Girl bandmates rushed to wish the singer a happy birthday, as Melanie C wrote: "Happy Birthday @victoriabeckham ! If you’re feeling a bit old today remember we’re still younger than Geri! (Love you Ginge!)"

After the cheeky dig, Geri soon rushed to social media to send Victoria her well-wishes: “Happy Birthday @victoriabeckham! Wishing you a fantastic year ahead xxx,” alongside two images of the pair during their heady Spice Girls days.

The latest Beckham family outing for Victoria's birthday comes after the entire clan celebrated Brooklyn and Nicola's first wedding anniversary over Easter weekend. The 'peace summit' showed unity between the Peltz and Beckham families after reports of a falling out surfaced between Victoria and Nicola.
