Leeds United chairman Victor Orta has paid tribute to Marcelo Bielsa after he guided the club to the Premier League, stating he has 'no doubt' he will be considered a legend.
Elland Road will host top-flight football for the first time since 2004 next season after Leeds secured a return to the Premier League courtesy of their title-winning campaign in the Championship.
Bielsa, despite not speaking English, has touched the hearts of the Leeds faithful, as well as Orta, and he paid tribute to the Argentine.
“The love of the people is showing it. Today, they can no longer say that Bielsa has not won anything," he told Yahoo News Spain when asked if he would be considered as a legend at Leeds.
“For me, working with him has been a pleasure, because I think he increases the level of each one, both the club and each person,” he added.
“He makes you a better professional, and the truth is that he has things very clear.
"That for my scouting department is very useful because having everything so clear makes it easier to identify players.
“Imagine that we say this player is good, but he is not for us. That helps a lot on a day-to-day basis.
"He has also integrated very well into the club and is in line with improving every aspect of the club.”
