Victor Moses set for reunion with former Chelsea head coach as Blues make transfer decision

Victor Moses is set to be reunited with Antonio Conte at Internazionale after the winger was recalled by Chelsea from his loan at Fenerbahce.

The Nigeria international, who thrived under Conte's wing back system during the Italian's time in charge at Stamford Bridge, is expected to move to San Siro on loan initially with a €10million option to buy, according to reports in Italy.

In his press conference to preview tomorrow night's game against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge, Frank Lampard confirmed that Moses had returned from Turkey with a view to heading somewhere else before heading on loan elsewhere.

The Chelsea head coach said: "On Victor Moses he's obviously coming back from his loan with a view to going elsewhere, and those talks are ongoing as well."

Soon after reports emerged from local media in Milan that the 29-year-old had agreed personal terms with Inter and is expected to join on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy clause built into the deal.

Moses excelled as a right wing back under Conte as Chelsea won the 2016-17 Premier League title but he was not given any opportunity under Maurizio Sarri and was sent to Fenerbahce.

He has played just six times this season due to a long-term thigh injury but is nearing a return to full fitness.

Inter have also held talks with striker Olivier Giroud, who wants to leave Chelsea but will not be allowed to do so unless the West London club sign another striker.
