Victor Lindelof has said he has 'no problem' with Raphael Varane's transfer to Manchester United.
After signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund this summer, United struck a deal with Real Madrid for Varane and, while fans rejoiced at the Frenchman's transfer to Old Trafford, the latter's arrival changed the centre-back pecking order at the club.
Axel Tuanzebe, who was on the fringe of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans last season, was sent out on loan to Aston Villa while Varane's transfer also meant that Victor Lindelof's place in the starting XI alongside regular partner Harry Maguire became vulnerable.
Although Lindelof started against Leeds and Southampton in the first two Premier League games of the season, Solskjaer handed Varane his full debut against Wolves.
Varane and Maguire now seem to be United's most likely partnership in defence, but Lindelof doesn't see that as a problem.
"I think it’s great," Lindelof told Fotballdirekt.
"I play in one of the world’s biggest clubs and it’s clear that you want good players.

"It’ll always be a competitive situation. I only see it as positive that we get good players into the club.
"It will only develop us. For my own part, I see no problem with it. Sometimes I may not play a match but, for me, it does absolutely nothing. I have played a lot the last two years and, last year, I had back problems and played with some pain."
