A police probe into the triple death smash in Renfrewshire is continuing as all three victims have now been officially named.
The M8 near Bishopton was sealed-off for hours on Sunday after the early morning tragedy.
The 35-year-old driver of the Audi Q7 was arrested, but has now been released.
The dead have been formally identified as David Paton and Manveer "Manny" Benning, both 27, and 31-year-old Mark Downie.
The dead men and five other pals were all travelling in the seven-seater luxury car.

They are all understood to be from the Greenock and Inverclyde area.
Police Scotland confirmed today the driver has “since been released and enquiries are ongoing”.

The car left the road near junction 31 of the motorway, between Bishopton and Langbank, before 6am on Sunday.
The incident provoked a massive response from emergency services.

It has emerged one of the victims David Paton was jailed for culpable homicide when he was just 17.
He was locked up for 13 and a half years at the High Court in Glasgow nine years ago.
Along with another youth, he stabbed 17-year-old Chris Knox to death in a Greenock Street.
The judge in the case told David Paton: “You have no regard of the grief Christopher’s parents must be suffering at the loss of their young son and I have no words to describe such behaviour.”
According to social media posts news of the road smash is said to have “rocked Greenock and the wider community.”
One said: “Heart is broken thinking of all the families.”
Another added: “So sad, every mother’s worst nightmare getting a call or visit like that in the middle of the night.
“May they rest in peace and let’s hope the five injured recover well and aren’t too badly affected.
“Thoughs are also to the emergency crews having to deal with this tragedy.
“It’s just horrific.”
