A victim was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre with serious facial injuries following an assault in the early hours of this morning.
The incident took place on Upper Parliament Street, near to the junction of King Street.
It happened at around 3.15am on Sunday, July 14.
Nottinghamshire Police are now asking anyone with any information, or who was in the area between 3 and 3.30am, to get in touch with them on 101, quoting incident number 153 of July 14.
They are also requesting anyone to hand over any dashcam footage they may have.
