Victim kicked repeatedly in the face by two men after stopping to speak to homeless man

A victim was kicked in the face several times after he stopped to speak to a homeless man in a Nottinghamshire town.

The incident happened on Monday, September 30 at around 7pm on Norfolk Street off Newcastle Avenue in Worksop.

The man was walking from a shop when he stopped to speak to a homeless man.

He was then jumped from behind by two men and fell to the floor.

The men then kicked him in the face several times and he suffered "extensive injuries" to his face, according to police.

Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for information and witnesses to come forward.
