Victim has broken jaw after attack by man and woman in Larkhall car park

A man was left with a broken jaw after he was beaten up by a woman and a man in a Larkhall car park.

Detective are appealing for anyone who witnesses the assault taking place on Saturday, May 25, to come forward.

The 38-year-old man suffered serious facial injuries after being punched and kicked about the head in a small car park area in Fir Bank Avenue some time between 1pm and 7pm.

He later attended the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and was discharged following treatment for injuries, including a broken jaw.

The man responsible is described as white, around 38 to 40 years of age, about 5ft 7ins to 5ft 9ins in height and medium build.

He was wearing a black polo shirt, blue denims and black trainers and he spoke with a local West of Scotland accent.

The woman was white, aged in her mid-30s, about 5ft 8ins to 5ft 9ins in height with a heavy build.

She is said to have shoulder-length dark brown hair and was wearing a black jumpsuit or tracksuit.

Detective Constable James Routledge is appealing for anyone who was in the area and who has information about the man and woman who attacked the man to get in touch.

He said: “This attack has left the victim seriously injured and shaken.

“I am urging anyone who recognises the description of those responsible or has information that could help identify them to contact me.”

Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland via 101 and refer to incident 3638 of May 25. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
