Vicky Phelan enjoyed a few days away in Galway with her kids and their dad Jim as they get in the Christmas spirit.
The brave CervicalCheck campaigner and her ex partner Jim headed west on Thursday.
Vicky and her husband Jim continue to live together and support one another despite their marriage separation in 2017.
They share their children Amelia, 16, and Darragh, 10.
Taking to Instagram, Vicky said: "Back home after a really lovely mini break with Jim and the kids in Galway. We took the kids out of school on Friday (no complaints from them!) and headed to Galway for a two night break.
"We availed of all the facilities at the Galmont including the pool, outdoor hot tub, jacuzzi and I booked myself in to the Spirit Spa for a back, neck and shoulder massage and a facial.
"We walked into town. The hotel is less than five minutes to Eyre Square and we did some shopping at @dubraybooks and @omggalway and Amelia convinced us to buy her an aran cardigan from @aransweatermarket. I blame @taylorswift.
"We stopped for chips at McDonaghs on Quay Street whose chips are still as good as I remember them from my time spent in Galway years ago as a student. We went back into Eyre Square last night to sample the Christmas Market. It was really well laid out and there were lots of stalls with everything and anything. My two had mini doughnuts smothered in Nutella and hot chocolate.
"All in all, even though the two kids weren't particularly looking forward to the break away, they both agreed that they enjoyed it. So, some more memories made."
