Vicky Pattison shares the moment she met her new rescue puppy for the first time - and it’s just too cute

Vicky Pattison has shared the moment she met her rescue puppy Milo for the first time.

The former I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! winner was overcome with emotion as Milo, who was rescued by the Dogs Trust after being illegally smuggled into the country, bounded towards her and her partner Ercan Ramadan.

In a moving video shared on Instagram with her 4.8 million followers Vicky, 33, and Ercan, 37, cuddled and stroked their adorable pup and Vicky was in tears as she greeted him.

"I love you. We love you so much already," she told him.

Vicky, who shot to fame on the reality show Geordie Shore in 2011 and won I'm A Celebrity in 2015, wrote: "The moment we met Milo…

"Two things, yes my puppy voice is painful… I can only apologise for being a complete creep when it comes to pups.

"Secondly, yes I am a total f***y and this moment made me cry but honestly I have waited for this my whole life and I am just so happy that Milo is finally ours."

Thanking the Dogs Trust, whose Puppy Pilot scheme aids the interception of illegally imported puppies and provides care and rehabilitation for them prior to finding them new homes, Vicky said: "I want to say a huge thank you to Gabby, Meg and the rest of the amazing team at @dogstrust who have been completely incredible throughout this entire process and I can not recommend adopting through them enough.

"Milo was a dream in the long car journey home - he is playful, chilled and beyond beautiful… and I have never loved anything more."

Ahead of picking Milo up Vicky declared it was 'Pupmas Eve' and said they could 'barely contain ourselves.'

"We cannot wait to meet you tomorrow little one and give you the home and the love you deserve!" she wrote to Milo.

She explained: "For those of you who don’t already know Milo is a Dogs Trust pup and was originally illegally smuggled into the country before he was intercepted at the border with his litter mates and came into the charity’s care.

"Through their Puppy Pilot they rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pups like Milo that have been illegally smuggled into the country to be sold on to unsuspecting dog owners.

"We have been waiting quite a while to bring Milo home and I know that @dogstrust have been taking their time to make sure that Milo and his litter mates were ok which I totally understand and support.

"I know that Dogs Trust are still getting inundated with requests to rehome their dogs.

"They are doing everything they can to answer as many calls as possible and get hundreds every day – my advice would be to be patient, it definitely takes time for the perfect dog to come along and we’re so delighted we did wait!

"We are so thrilled and cannot wait to see what his personality will be like- I want him to be cute and hyper like meeeee and @ercan_ram wants him to be super chilled and snuggly like him.

"Regardless, we will love him ridiculous amounts."

She added: "We’ll be going to Puppy School classes with Milo to teach him all he needs to know about life in the real world."

The following day Vicky updated her fans.

She wrote: "Good Morning from The newest resident of @oaks_house."

Our baby has had us up since around 5am… and has had various accidents around the house.. we are feeling tired and confused but completely in love.

"Any puppy potty training advice would be greatly appreciated folks."
