Vicky Pattison says I'm A Celebrity's new series is 'too easy' after being tipped to return

Former I'm A Celebrity champion Vicky Pattison has torn into the new series for being 'too easy', weeks after she was hotly tipped to return to the show.

Five years have now passed since Vicky left Geordie Shore behind her and headed to Australia to take part in I'm A Celeb, going in as a late arrival and then being crowned Queen of the Jungle, pulling in a huge amount of votes and earning the admiration of millions of viewers for her no nonsense attitude to the Bushtucker Trials.

Right before the new Wales-based run kicked off earlier this month, Vicky was linked with a shock appearance, alongside other I'm A Celebrity alumni Charlie Brooks and Joey Essex.

But, if she does go in before the new series comes to an end next week she might have to eat her words after complaining that this year's lineup are having things too easy.

Speaking to The Sun, Vicky said: "I do think there’s going to be a lot of past campmates sitting round and watching this year’s I’m A Celeb and going, ‘What the f***? They have it so easy compared to us’.”

However, while this year's celebs get to sleep indoors and have water, they don't get to jet Down Under or stay with their families in the plush Versace hotel following their jungle exit.

Addressing that fact, Vicky added: "“I feel a bit sorry for them that they’re not in Australia. It’s so nice isn’t it?

"The sun’s shining for the best part and you get to go on the fancy flight.

“It does feel like you’re part of something big. All they did was jump in the back of an Uber.”
