Vicky Pattison marks one year since being left 'broken' by ex John Noble's cheating

It's been one year since Vicky Pattison discovered that her ex fiancé John Noble had cheated on her.

And the former Geordie Shore star, 31, marked the sad anniversary on Instagram today, looking at how far she'd come in just 12 months.

She posted a picture of herself from back then, crying with no makeup on, and comparing it to this year where she gave a huge grin for the camera.

Vicky admitted she had been "broken" by the scandal but has now found her voice and refuses "to be silent".

The brunette was also marking the end of her reality TV show No Filter, which she said helped her get over the heartbreak.

Vicky wrote: "This show saved my life. That sounds dramatic but a) I am dramatic in case you hadn't noticed & b) so what?!

"The second picture was taken almost a year ago from the one I took today- and as you can see the images are worlds apart.

"I'll not drag up the past, we've all had struggles and we have all had hardships to face & will no doubt have more in our futures- what I want to focus on is gratitude & looking forward."

She admitted that she felt like a "broken little girl" when they started filming.

Vicky continued: "You helped give me the confidence to turn into a woman with a voice. (I bet some of you wish you hadn’t now as I literally won’t shut up... sorryyy)

"But seriously, I used this show as a creative outlet for my pain and hurt, a platform to voice my grievances about society and the pressures we face as women- I wasn’t expecting to have how I felt resonate with so many of you."

She finished by saying that this wouldn't be the last we see of her.

Vicky said: "It took me quite a long time to find my voice- to truly feel like I have something worth hearing & now that I have- I won’t be silent.

"THANKYOU all endlessly. I hope you had as much fun watching the show as we did making it."
