Vicky Pattison hates that most people know she had sex on TV on Geordie Shore

Vicky Pattison says her 'biggest regret' is that most people know she had sex on TV during her time on Geordie Shore.

Ten years have now passed since Vicky and co-stars like Gaz Beadle, Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan shot to overnight TV fame when MTV launched their answer to US series Jersey Shore on the world.

From the get-go, Geordie Shore sparked serious controversy after its first episode featured excessive drinking, people being sick and bed hopping.

The cast having sex on camera rapidly became the norm on Geordie Shore but Vicky, who left the show at the end of 2014, says it's the thing she regrets the most.

Speaking to The Mirror, the 33-year-old said: "I have this big regret that most people know I had sex on TV. I always say you can’t be old and wise if you haven’t been young and daft.

“I do have chapters I don’t want to read out loud – but so does everybody.”

Vicky has recently been back on screen in a show that couldn't be more different to Geordie Shore - Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins - alongside the likes of Kerry Katona, Jake Quickenden and Alexandra Burke.

Since turning her back on Geordie Shore she has also won I'm A Celebrity and made the final of Celebrity Masterchef.

Talking about her TV career to date, Vicky added: "I feel I’ve achieved a lot in a short time. I’m really proud of my career and everything I’ve worked for.

“I’m on my way to being a very strong and confident woman, and I like where I’m headed, where I am going.”

Vicky has spoken about her regret about having sex on Geordie Shore on numerous occasions in the past.

Appearing as guest on Fleur East's The Reality of Reality TV last year, she said: "When you are so immersed in something, lines just get blurred and you lose a sense of yourself. (On Geordie Shore) I became me but a caricature of myself.

"Lost in trying to be what I thought everyone wanted us to be: this really outrageous person. I wish I'd never had sex on the telly, like, I absolutely wish.

"I was never comfortable with it. It was something I felt slightly pressured into doing.
