Vicky Pattison had engagement party cancelled after hotel found out who she was

Vicky Pattison has revealed that she had her engagement party cancelled after staff at the London hotel where she'd hoped to hold it realised who she was.

It's now been 11 years since Wallsend lass Vicky was propelled to overnight TV fame as one of the original cast members on Geordie Shore.. She stayed on the MTV show for three years and within a year of quitting hand landed her own series on MTV, topped the charts with her fitness DVD and, most notably, won I'm A Celebrity.

Vicky has remained a constant presence on TV and social media over the last decade, building an Instagram following of millions and appearing on high profile TV shows like Celebrity Masterchef, Loose Women and Sport Relief All Star Games. However, she claims that someone at five star The Londoner Hotel in the capital, scrapped Vicky and fiancé Ercan Ramadan's booking for their engagement party after they found out who it was for.

Speaking on her hit podcast The Secret To..., where she was joined by former TOWIE star Kate Ferdinand, Vicky said: "The engagement party was stressful!

'We had it booked at this hotel in London, The Londoner and they found it was for us and said they didn't want me to go! How bad is that?"

As Kate, wife of footballer turned pundit Rio Ferdinand, expressed her shock at the hotel's course of action, Vicky elaborated: "We had it booked in for months and then we went to view it and they were really lovely.. and then I got a call the week after and they said, 'sorry we've realised who it's for and we don't want the privacy of our guests compromised by them.'

Revealoing that, thankfully for her and Ercan, there was a happy ending to the saga, Vicky added: "'Then we had to find somewhere late central London as all my friends had booked their trains.

'We were s**ting ourselves. We ended up having it somewhere miles better - 14 Hills Restaurant - everything happens for a reason!'

The Londoner, where rooms for the night starts at over £600, have yet to comment on the matter.
