Vick Hope has spoken candidly about becoming a mother for the first time, as she made her red-carpet return just three months after welcoming her baby boy with husband Calvin Harris.
The TV and radio presenter, 36, gave birth to son Micah in July during an at-home water birth at the couple’s Ibiza farmhouse, Terra Masia.
Making her first public appearance since giving birth, Hope admitted she was “bricking it” ahead of hosting Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards in London after 13 sleepless weeks of new motherhood.
Taking to the stage to cheers, Hope told the crowd she was still adjusting to life as a new mum.
“I’ll be honest I’ve been bricking it about hosting tonight,” she said. “I’m technically still on maternity leave. I made a little baby boy.
“And listen not to sound like the first person to ever have a child but I’m simultaneously so unbelievably in love. I feel like this superwoman just pumping my boobs in the script meeting.

“But also I had not slept or drank a cup of tea while it was still hot in 13 weeks so please be gentle with me.”
The DJ, 41, posted a carousel of images announcing Micah’s arrival in August, including photos from their Ibiza home birth and a glimpse of the couple’s decision to have the placenta encapsulated — a wellness trend growing in popularity among new mothers.
He wrote at the time: “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here! My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom! Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.
Referencing the post while reflecting on the night’s theme of sisterhood, Hope told the crowd: “It was posted by my husband but placentas are amazing. I was stood by my husband who was in utter awe of what the body can do.
“Appreciate that we all come from a placenta, that it is frankly magnificent.

She added playfully: “So I feel like I’m tentatively emerging in front of all your beautiful faces, crawling out of my cave like a little gremlin having been cocooned away from the world in this magical newborn bubble for the last three months covered in bright yellow s**t.
“But there was no way I was going this evening, this incredible celebration of womanhood, particularly after was my vagina has just done – it’s f***ing majestic.”
Earlier this month, Hope shared her own gallery of summer photos from their Spanish estate, including candid moments from pregnancy to early motherhood.
Captioning the post, she wrote: “A womb with a view, a summer of love and another trip around the sun [sunshine emoji]”.
The couple — who married in 2023 — have been spending much of the year in Ibiza, where Harris owns a 138-acre organic farm known as Terra Masia.
