Viceroy Bar: Man arrested and another in hospital after 'disturbance' in Kinning Park pub

A man was rushed to hospital following an incident in a Kinning Park pub this afternoon.

Police were called to reports of a disturbance within the Viceroy Bar in Paisley Road West at around 4.30pm today (Wednesday).

While officers were attending, a 58-year-old man became unwell and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

Another man was arrested in connection with the disturbance.

A police spokesperson said: "Around 4.30pm on Wednesday, July 17 police were called to reports of a disturbance within a bar on paisley road west, near to Govan Road. 

"Whilst officers were in attendance, a 58-year-old man became unwell and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. One man was arrested in connection with the disturbance. Enquiries are ongoing. "
