
The manhunt for a suspect who allegedly fired a shot at police in Melbourne is over, after he handed himself in.
Victoria Police called on members of the public to find Brendan Searle after officers were shot at in Boronia, east of the city's CBD, just after 2am on Saturday.
Police confirmed on Tuesday that Searle had handed himself in to police at the Spencer Street complex at 4.40pm.
He is being interviewed by the Armed Crime Squad and could be charged shortly.
