Vic Fangio attended Nuggets game with Bradley Chubb

Two weeks after attending a Colorado Buffaloes basketball game with running back Phillip Lindsay, Denver Broncos coach Vic Fangio attended a Denver Nuggets basketball game with outside linebacker Bradley Chubb on Monday evening.

The Nuggets defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 109-95 and Colorado basketball teams improved to 2-0 in games attended by Fangio this spring. Fangio showed support for the hometown team by standing until the Nuggets’ first score.

Fangio is clearly making an effort to connect with players this offseason.

Chubb is still recovering from an ACL injury and he won’t be able to do on-field work this spring but should be back in time for Week 1.

“I’m just hoping to feel the best I possibly can by the season’s start,” Chubb said of his recovery timeline on Dec. 30. “I’m not trying to put OTAs, camp or a date or anything. I’m just trying to feel 100 percent and make sure I’m good and the team’s good.”
