  • Donald Trump announced the temporary pause in attacks on Tuesday, 7 April, following Iran's agreement to reopen the crucial Gulf shipping route.
  • Marine Traffic data confirms that vessels are once again transiting the waterway.
  • The Greek-owned bulk carrier NJ Earth and the Liberia-flagged Daytona Beach were among the first ships recorded crossing the Strait.
  • Hundreds of vessels, including 426 tankers, 34 LPG carriers, and 19 LNG vessels, remain in the region.
