'Very good' - Leeds United boss drops Nottingham Forest transfer hint

Jack Clarke appears to be firmly in Leeds United's plans this season after making his second League debut for the club yesterday.

He made a 19-minute cameo for Marcelo Bielsa's side in a 2-1 win at Luton Town, a result that keeps his side firmly in the Championship promotion race.

They sit in second place, on 34 points and three ahead of Preston North End in third.

Clarke came through the Whites' academy and was sold to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer for around £10 million - but he was loaned back to Leeds for the whole of this season.

It has been reported that Nottingham Forest are interested in Clarke, with Spurs said to be keen on recalling the youngster.

However, that was before Mauricio Pochettino was sacked , with Jose Mourinho replacing him.

He had made just two appearances - both in the Carabao Cup - before the trip to Luton and has been re-integrated into the first team squad as the hectic nature of the Championship starts to bite.

"In the second match that he played with England, he had a very good match for us," Bielsa said of Clarke's performances for England's Under-20s over the international break.

"We are always looking for different options: Pablo and Helder play on the right, Tyler and Pablo in the middle in the centre and Harrison, Costa and Clarke play on the left.

"The three places where the offensive play grows or stops because Bamford is less involved in the build-up and more involved in the finish. Klich, Ayling and Dallas, they had impact from behind. I wanted to refresh the two wingers positions and playmaker.
