'Very good deal' - Nottingham Forest keen on West Brom's Kamil Grosicki - report

Nottingham Forest are keen on signing West Brom winger Kamil Grosicki according to a report in his native Poland.

According to Meczyki, the Reds tried to sign the winger in January which is when he completed his switch to the Hawthorns from Hull City.

Grosicki, who is currently sidelined through injury, has made 15 appearances for the Baggies since his switch from the Tigers, the majority of which have come from the substitutes' bench.

The report in Meczyki said: "He also has a very good deal from The Championship.

"According to our sources, Nottingham Forest, which lost its race for the Grosicki in winter, would love to see him at their home."

Grosicki was a valuable member of the Baggies' squad that won promotion to the Premier League last season having made 49 appearances.

He scored eight goals as they finished runners-up to title-winners Leeds United, but it seems unlikely the Baggies would consider his departure just eight months after signing him for an undisclosed fee.

Reds boss Sabri Lamouchi eager to sign a winger to end what has been a crazy transfer window with the club announcing their 12th arrival today in defender Nicholas Ioannou.

He has signed a four-year contract with the left-back moving from Apoel for an undisclosed fee, although reports have claimed it will cost the Reds up to 750,000 Euros.
