Very and Argos PS5 stock expected tomorrow - plus updates for Curry's, Amazon and more

A new batch of PlayStation 5 consoles is expected to drop tomorrow after a new supply on Amazon sold out within half an hour.

Last week GAME and ShopTo both sold out in minutes when they both released new supplies, and Amazon's supply on Monday morning didn't last much longer as the scramble to get hold of a PS5 continues.

But more opportunities are expected to be just around the corner.

Twitter tipster PS5StockAlertUK has told fans a restock on Very is expected to drop on Wednesday morning.

"Both PS5 Disc Edition and Digital Edition has been uploaded onto the Very website. This retailer is expected to drop the consoles tomorrow (17th Feb). No time-slot yet but expect it to be mid-day," they tweeted, a day after saying Very is expected to have 6,000 consoles available.

However, the retailer has been responding to fans on Twitter to tell them they have "no update" on a release date for its next batch.

PS5StockAlertUK has also suggested that Argos will also drop a new supply in the next 24 hours.

"Argos is expected to drop either tonight (16th Feb) or tomorrow night (17th Feb)," they tweeted on Monday evening.

Explaining the two possible dates, they quoted an Argos insider who told them: "Haven’t been given a date but it’s not normal Argos isn’t dropping whilst stock is available nationally. I’d be on the watch if I were you."

Later, the Twitter tipster gave a prediction on the time Argos will drop its new stock.

Eyewitnesses have also said they've seen the ever-popular console arrive at Argos stores.

One told Birmingham Live : "Just been down my local Argos to collect a package and they had 1 pallet of PlayStation consoles, the lady couldn’t tell me when but said she expects her management team to put them on sale tomorrow morning click and collect.

Fans have also been told by another tipster, PS5Instant, that more supplies are also expected this week at Curry's, John Lewis, Very, AO, Amazon, Argos and GAME.

Eager gamers flocked to the Curry's website on Monday when scheduled maintenance sparked rumours the retailer was preparing for a restock.

However, a message on its website said: "We are experiencing higher traffic than usual. We are not selling PS5 or Xbox today."
