Vertonghen and Sessegnon in, Ndombele dropped: The Tottenham lineup fans want vs RB Leipzig

It is game day for Tottenham Hotspur - and a big game as well.

Spurs are in Germany for the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie against RB Leipzig, with the Bundesliga side leading 1-0 from the first leg in north London.

Tottenham will need to score in Germany to have any chance of progressing to the quarter-finals, with Spurs having to try and overturn the first leg deficit, which was secured for RB Leipzig from the penalty spot by forward Timo Werner.

But Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho has some decisions to make when it comes to the team he selects for the game, with Tottenham short of options, especially in attack.

Steven Bergwijn has been added to an injury list that already includes Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, while midfielder Moussa Sissoko and defenders Ben Davies and Juan Foyth are also set to miss out.

Jose Mourinho believes he will win a trophy with Spurs

As a result, Mourinho has limited options up front for the game, while in midfield he will have to make a decision over whether or not to play club record signing Tanguy Ndombele, after the Spurs head coach was critical of the Frenchman after his first half display at Burnley on Saturday.

Our Tottenham writers have had their say on how they think Mourinho should line up the side at the Red Bull Arena, and we gave you - the fans - the chance to have your say on the lineup.

And there is no place for Ndombele in the most popular XI picked by supporters.

The most popular team picked by supporters features a 4-5-1 formation, with Dele Alli as the lone man up front.

In midfield, Harry Winks, Gedson Fernandes and Giovani Lo Celso are in the middle, with Ryan Sessegnon and Lucas Moura on the wings.

The defence is a back four of Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Davinson Sanchez and Jan Vertonghen, with Hugo Lloris in goal.

But do you agree with the most popular XI?
