Cagliari defender Adam Obert is reportedly wanted by Celtic.
The 22-year-old played 21 times for his club in Serie A last season.
Although a centre-back by trade, the majority of Obert's league appearances in 2024/25 came at left-back.
He is contracted with Cagliari until the summer of 2029, although he could be on the move this summer.
Indeed, Italian outfit L'Unione Sarda claims that after signing Gennaro Borrelli, Michael Folorunsho, Luca Mazzitelli, and, most recently, Semih Kilicsoy, Cagliari must focus on selling players.

Obert is on the chopping block, and it is claimed that he is wanted by Celtic. The Parkhead club, however, are said to have failed to meet the right figures to reach an agreement, with an increase in their offer 'necessary' to sign the defender.
Brendan Rodgers has publicly stated that following the loan arrival of Jahmai Simpson-Pusey from Manchester City, Celtic won't move to bring in another central defender.
With Obert playing a large chunk of games at left-back last season, he could be brought in to provide cover for Kieran Tierney after Hayato Inamura wasn't even on the bench on flag day.
Celtic travel to face Aberdeen this weekend after starting the season with a home win against St Mirren.
