Vernon Kay snaps at Ant and Dec as he gags on deer testicle on I'm A Celebrity

TV presenter Vernon Kay gags as he takes on the famous eating challenge on tonight's I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here!

The All Star Family Fortunes host is served up a 'nuts roast' platter that resembles a Sunday dinner with all the trimmings.

And he's unimpressed when hosts Ant and Dec tell him that it consists of deers' testicles.

As the pair laugh at the tough challenge ahead of him, he scolds: "Stop laughing!"

"It looks very funny," Ant explains.

"It does," he concedes.

The public voted for Vernon, Corrie legend Beverley Callard and Radio One DJ Jordan North to take part in tonight's trial Frights Of The Round Table.

Vernon is told he's got to eat one whole testicle to win a star for a meal for camp.

"Choose your testicle," he's told.

This year the hit reality show is set at the historic Gwrych Castle, Abergele in north Wales.

A new line-up of 10 celebrities undertake gruelling trials and fun-filled challenges to win food and treats in the lead up to one of them being crowned, for the first time ever, King or Queen of the Castle.

Last year’s highlights included Caitlyn Jenner giving Ant and Dec the silent treatment after a messy Bushtucker Trial, Roman Kemp’s celebrity impressions, Andy Whyment and Cliff Parisi’s hilarious entrance into the Jungle via Ol’ Dingo Town and Jacqueline Jossa being crowned Queen of the Jungle.

The 10 celebrities also include broadcaster and journalist Victoria Derbyshire, former EastEnders stars Shane Richie and Jessica Plummer, paralympic gold medallist Hollie Arnold MBE, former Strictly star AJ Pritchard, author and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher and Olympic legend Sir Mo Farah.

Find out how they all get on in tonight's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! at 9.15pm on ITV.
