Vernon Kay has revealed how he surprised his wife Tess Daly by secretly arranging for them to renew their wedding vows.
Vernon, 46, and Tess, 51, said 'I do' again in the south of France five years ago.
The former Family Fortunes host asked her stylist for four dresses for Tess to choose from after booking a weekend away.
Asked on I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! if he’d ever renewed his wedding vows, Vernon said: “We have done, we did it in France, about five years ago.”
He explained: “I booked a weekend in our favourite hotel in the South of France and I spoke to her stylist at the time and I said I needed four dresses.”
His campmate on the ITV reality show Giovanna Fletcher asked: “So Tess did not know anything?”
And he replied: “No, she didn’t know anything. I said I needed four dresses and I gave her a card and it said 'congratulations on your second wedding day' and I said 'we’re going to renew our vows.'
"She said ‘I’ve got nothing to wear’ and I said 'you say that…pick one'."
Vernon continued: “We went to the reception and her mum, my parents, the kids and my brother were waiting and she was like 'oh my god - we had such a lovely day."
Vernon and Tess, who have two daughters Phoebe, 16, and Amber, 11, shunned the traditional showbiz wedding in 2003 by marrying in a local church before driving off in a camper van.
They opted for a down-to-earth ceremony at St Mary's Church, in Horwich, the village where Vernon grew up.
Tess, from Birch Vale, near New Mills in Derbyshire, wore a white strapless dress by Marina Adanou and Jimmy Choo shoes while Vernon, from Bolton, donned a white suit by Alexandre Savile Row.
Among the guests were fellow TV presenters Brian Dowling and June Sarpong.
Crowds of well-wishers gathered outside the church in Chorley New Road as the couple headed for their reception at Rivington Barn, where DJ Brandon Block provided the disco.
