Fans of Vernon Kay have declared they are 'having a hard time' with Game of Talents as they struggle to take to the presenter's new ITV show.
I'm A Celebrity finalist Vernon is back on prime time TV in the new show, which, having proved popular in America, has now crossed over the Atlantic to fill the vacant Saturday night slot on ITV left by Saturday Night Takeaway finishing.
The new seven part series which features eight different performers every week, each showcasing their own talent.
There's one big catch though - contestants joining former Family Fortunes and T4 host Vernon in the studio and people watching at home have no idea what those talents are and have to make a prediction based on the performer's appearance.
The format has led to Game of Talents being branded 'the most judgemental show on TV ' and people have been torn on whether they think it's actually any good.
And among those who have condemned the show are Vernon fans. Reacting to episode 3 on Saturday night, which saw Vernon joined by stars including Stephen Mulhern, one tweeted: "Love vernon kay and Stephen mulhern but this is trash."
Actually praising Vernon's hosting skills, while rubbishing the show itself, another posted: "I can honestly say that Game of Talents has to be the worst entertainment show ever to be broadcast! Vernon, who actually does a decent job, must be laughing all the way to the bank. This could signal the demise of Saturday night TV."
A third reacted: "WTF!! This is soooooo painful. Sack the commissioning editors. Run @vernonkay as fast as you can, you fool."
However, other Vernon fans are loving Game of Talents, with one impressed viewer, telling the Bolton star: "I really enjoyed that! Brilliant episode," and, in agreement, another posted: "Tonight’s @GameOfTalents is very, very funny, we’re having a good laugh here thanks guys"
