Vermont vs Florida State: Live Stream, How to Watch NCAA Tournament Online, TV Channel, Start Time

The NCAA Tournament Round of 64 is in full swing as the fourth game of the day features a red-hot ACC team in #4 Florida State and a fantastic mid-major in #13 Vermont. Vermont is a familiar Cinderella face, having upset Syracuse in the first round of the 2005 tournament in the same seeding matchup.

#13 Vermont

The Vermont Catamounts once again dominated the America East Conference, finishing with a 27-6 overall record and winning the conference tournament final against UMBC to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Vermont’s chances in March Madness are directly related to the production of forward Anthony Lamb, the team’s star and the America East Player of the Year. Lamb is a powerful post player who can shoot threes, and he’ll be a handful to any defender who tries to stop him. The Catamounts are really good without the ball, ranking in the Top 30 in the country on defense. Lamb and defense: that’s Vermont’s formula to shock the world.

#4 Florida State

The Florida State Seminoles start the NCAA Tournament on the back of a fantastic end to the regular season in which they won 14 of their final 16 games in the ACC, and even the loss to Duke in the ACC Tournament final won’t hurt the team’s confidence going into March Madness. The ‘Noles are a threat to anyone in the tournament thanks to their depth: at least nine players play quality minutes in every game, and eight players average six points or more. Guards Terance Mann and Trent Forrest set the tone on defense, while forward Mfiondu Kabengele is the team’s best offensive player and the spark off the bench that can change any game. The ‘Noles are dangerous, and you never know who their best player will be. That could be the key for a deep tournament run.

Florida State is hoping to better their Elite Eight run from last year, but in a single-elimination tournament, anyone has a chance – including Vermont. You can live stream this game – plus every minute of every NCAA Tournament game – with fuboTV. Sign up now for a free trial.
