Former Liverpool and Chelsea player Joe Cole has hailed Dominic Calvert-Lewin and James Rodriguez after fantastic goals for Everton at home to West Brom.
Carlo Ancelotti's men fell behind in the first half thanks to a goal for the visitors by Grady Diangana.
But Everton led at half time thanks to Calvert-Lewin's clever flicked finish with his back turned to the goal.
West Brom hit back from a free-kick early from the restart but the Blues eventually ran rampant, earning a dominant 5-2 win over the newly promoted side, with Calvert-Lewin bagging a hat-trick for the first time in his professional career.
Ex-England international Cole was quick to praise the forward during the half-time break as the pundits analysed the first half.
"That is an excellent finish. If he adds that to his game, we have a brilliant player on our hands," Cole said about Calvert-Lewin.
"That for a bit of creativity and awareness, he's a natural goalscorer."
Rodriguez also fired home before half-time from outside the box to score a wonderful goal to get off the mark in an Everton shirt.
Cole added on Rodriguez: "That little touch there and to get it out of his feet, it's just brilliant.
"He has one of the most feared left-foots in the whole of Europe."
West Brom lost Kieran Gibbs to a sending off in the first half also but equalised in the 47th minute thanks to Matheus Pereira's effort. Michael Keane made it 3-2 to Everton before the hour mark.
Calvert-Lewin added his second and third goals in the 62nd and 66th minutes as well to make it 5-2.
Former Manchester United midfielder turned pundit Owen Hargreaves also heaped praise on Calvert-Lewin post-match.
Hargreaves said: “James Rodriguez stole the show, but Calvert-Lewin, you want him to get goals, that was the criticism. He’s getting the goals now. Proper centre-forward’s goals, and a great performance from him.
"It’s just a shame the Everton faithful aren’t here, what a performance from Everton.”
Rodriguez, despite playing on the wide-right, often came inside and took up deeper positions - allowing him to orchestrate the match from midfield.
The former Real Madrid man’s part in Calvert-Lewin’s second goal was particularly impressive, clipping a ball over the top to Richarlison, who crossed it to the Everton number nine.
Hargreaves was clearly very impressed with the Colombian international and described his game intelligence as 'off the charts'.
“He’s not the quickest and he’s not the most explosive, but his game intelligence is off the charts,” Hargreaves said.
“He knows when to drift into those little pockets. Everything he does is class. That’s the word for him - he’s class. I just think he’s just a gifted player. Two games in, he looks majestic.”
