Vera Pauw names Ireland team for pre-World Cup friendly with Zambia

Republic of Ireland women's manager Vera Pauw has named her team for tonight's clash with Zambia at Tallaght Stadium.

Courtney Brosnan has been selected between the sticks for her 22nd International cap. Katie McCabe begins the game on the bench so the captain's armband is handed to defender Louise Quinn.

Megan Connolly and Ruesha Littlejohn will operate in the engine room. Heather Payne, Leanne Kiernan, Claire O'Riordan and Isibeal Atkinson also start.

Saoirse Noonan, Abbie Larkin and Leanne Kiernan form a three-pronged attack.

Alongside McCabe on the bench is Aine O'Gorman, Grace Maloney, Megan Walsh, Harriet Scott, Diane Caldwell, Jamie Finn, Chloe Mustaki, Diane Caldwell, Hayley Nolan, Ciara Grant, Amber Barrett, Erin McLaughlin and Lucy Quinn.
