Veo 3 Now Available in Public Preview on Vertex AI

Google’s latest Veo 3 text-to-video model is now available to all Google Cloud customers and partners in public preview via Vertex AI. With this update, Google aims to bring high-quality generative video tools to a wider range of creators and businesses. As we already know, the Veo 3 offers high-definition visuals with synchronized audio and realistic physics to help users create near-cinematic content with simple text prompts.

While Veo 3 had already been available to a limited group of users, today’s public preview means any business or developer using Vertex AI can now access the tool and start experimenting with generative video creation at scale. The model is equipped with safeguards like content filters and SynthID to ensure responsible use.

What sets Veo 3 apart is the ability to generate fluid video synchronized with audio and dialogue in one go; cinematic output that captures detailed scene elements like light, color, and motion; and realistic physics-based simulation that makes water, shadows, and human movement look more lifelike.

According to the Google blog post, some companies, like Freepik, Lightricks, and Pencil, have already integrated Veo 3 into their workflows to speed up creative processes and enhance content production.

Veo 3 has marked the difference within the gen AI industry, and we’re glad that Freepik users have been some of the first to try the model out. The quality of the video generations combined with the audio integration option is the game changer in our AI Suite. We look forward to continuing this collaboration to bring the best AI tools and features to our users.

Apart from that, the tech giant is also expanding Veo 3’s availability beyond the U.S.

Google has also been expanding Veo 3’s availability beyond the U.S. Today, users in the UK with an AI Ultra plan can access the full version through Google’s Flow platform. Pro users will receive a limited trial within the Gemini app.
