'Venom: The Last Dance' trailer: Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock faces off against symbiotes one last time; teases face-off against Knull

Tom Hardy is set to make his final appearance as Eddie Brock in one of the most anticipated anti-hero films of the year, 'Venom: The Last Dance'. The film, which is the third part of the franchise, comes to an epic conclusion, promising even more thrills, symbiote action and space creatures.

In 'Venom: The Last Dance', Hardy reprises his role as the iconic character Venom. Eddie Brock and his symbiote companion are on the run, hunted by enemies from both of their worlds. With the pressure mounting, they are forced into a life-altering decision, bringing their story to a dramatic and emotional end.

The trailer that dropped online today, also teased the introduction of a formidable villain who fans believe is Knull - God of the symbiote. Viral posts doing the rounds has fans convinced that Knull, the ancient god of darkness and the creator of the symbiotes, will awaken and unleash terror in thr universe.

According to comicbook.com, the character was chosen by the Celestials to serve as the King in Black, however, he rebelled, waging a relentless war against the forces of light. Eventually, the symbiotes turned against their master, imprisoning him within a planet they created.

The latest buzz online indicated that actor Norman Reedus has been cast as the famous Spider-Man villain.

Meanwhile, a popular fan theory states that after the events of 'Venom: The Last Dance', depending on who survives, either Venom or Eddie Brock will make their way to the MCU. Venom is rumoured to sacrifice himself to save Eddie, who will then land in the MCU and meet Spider-Man. The foundation of this theory comes from the fact that Marvel Entertainment also uploaded the film's trailer, something that has never been done before. With 'Spider-Man 4' officially on the cards with Tom Holland set to return, this could be a big possibility.

The film features an ensemble cast including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham.

Directed by Kelly Marcel, who also wrote the screenplay based on a story she developed with Tom Hardy, the film will be released in Indian cinemas on 25th October 2024 in multiple languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
