Clapham bar Venn Street Records is to giveaway 1000 free pints over the coming weekend, as it celebrates the bank holiday.
The bar, which boasts a substantial al fresco beer terrace, is to give away 250 pints on all four days of the weekend, starting at 5pm on Friday, 4.30pm on Saturday, and 4pm on both Sunday and Monday. The beer on offer is Camden Hells, which Venn Street has recently put on tap.
To claim a pint, drinkers will need to book a spot at the bar, with the free drinks limited to one per person. The booking link is here.
Sunday looks to be the day to go for, with Glastonbury and Lost Village veterans the Brass Funkeys putting in a live set from 6pm.
Tom Jackman, of Records Bars, which own Venn Street, said: “Bank holidays are a thing of legend in London. Sunshine, commons and Camden Hells. Nothing comes close.
“As the last spring bank holiday rolls in and the weather hots up, giving away 1000 free pints is the least we can do to help fans relax in style. Drink up London!”
The promotion follows another recent pint giveaway, as last week 40 Craft Union boozers handed out a total of 10,000 beers on the house.
