The Venezuelan striker Aquiles Ocanto is recovering after being kicked in the back by a fan while giving a live post-match TV interview.
The Carabobo FC player was answering questions from reporter Maria Alexandra Bastidas live on Meridiano Televisión after his side’s goalless draw with Aragua when he was sent flying.

The club subsequently reassured fans that Ocanto was not hurt during the incident, tweeting: “Achilles Ocanto is well and has not sustained any injury. We reject such acts of violence in football.”
