Vendor arrested at Dolphins game for allegedly charging $724 for two beers

Nathaniel Collier looked to make a little extra cash while serving beverages as a vendor at Hard Rock Stadium for the Dolphins’ Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend — allegedly charging one fan $724 for two beers.

Collier, 33, is accused of using a personal credit card scanner to conduct the transaction, allowing him to manually enter a charge onto the customer’s card. Shortly after the transaction, the customer received a phone notification alerting that a large charge had been placed on their card.

Authorities would go on to arrest Collier at the stadium, seizing the custom card reader during the arrest. Collier’s employer, Rocket Man, swiftly terminated Collier’s employment upon the allegation that he’d made unauthorized charges onto a customer’s card.

And you thought the Dolphins were hard enough to watch this season as is! The Dolphins are bad, but they’re not bad enough to hand over a paycheck for a beverage to help ease the pain.
