Vending machines selling face masks, gloves and antibacterial hand gel are to be installed in shopping centres.
The machines, created by Logistical Supplies, will provide a range of PPE against coronavirus.
St Enoch Centre, The Forge, intu Braehead and Paisley Shopping Centre will all have the vending machines installed.
They will include a 22-inch interactive touch screen and will accept all methods of payment methods including Apple Pay.
The full list items and prices available to purchase from the machines are:
- Face Masks - for adults and children (3ply) £1
- KN95 Masks £5.95
- Fashion Masks £4.95
- Antibacterial Gel £3.95
- Gloves (10 pack) £1.95
The aim of the vending machines is to ensure that centres can maintain social distancing between shoppers as they reopen to the public.
It comes as non-essential shops inside shopping centres re-opened at the beginning of this week. Braehead, Silverburn, Buchanan Galleries and St Enoch Centre all opened their doors to customers after nearly four months of no visitors.
However, there are strict rules in place, with face coverings mandatory in all shops and social distancing guidelines to be adhered to.
The Scottish Government's decision to reopen all shops came as the country moved into phase three of leaving lockdown.
