Vehicle break-ins reported in Little Village: police

Police are warning Little Village residents of a series of thefts to vehicles reported in recent weeks on the Southwest Side.

In each case, someone broke into vehicles parked on the street and took property from inside, Chicago police said in a community alert.

The thefts happened:

  • About 10 p.m. Nov. 14 in the 2500 block of South Kedzie Avenue;
  • About 11:30 a.m. Nov. 16 in the 2300 block of South Homan Avenue;
  • Between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 19 and 10:30 a.m. Nov. 20 in the 2300 block of South California Avenue; and
  • About 8:30 p.m. Nov. 20 in the 2900 block of South Sacramento Avenue.

A description of any suspects was not immediately available.
