Chicago police are warning Southwest Siders about a string of vehicle break-ins reported last month in the Brighton Park neighborhood.
Throughout February, drivers returning to parked vehicles found their belongings inside were stolen, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
The incidents occurred:
- between 7:30 a.m. Feb. 2 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 3 in the 4500 block of South Richmond Street;
- about 10:05 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 4300 block of South Campbell;
- between 12 a.m. and 9 a.m. Feb. 7 in the 4400 block of South Francisco Avenue; and
- about 10 a.m. Feb. 11 in the 4500 block of South Richmond Street.
