Despite coming off a brutal loss, according to BetMGM, the Detroit Lions (2-3-1) opened the week as 7-point favorites as they prepare to host the New York Giants (2-5) in Week 8. The Giants are also coming off a loss, their third in a row, falling to the Arizona Cardinals 27-21.
That number has since been updated and reduced to 6.5-points on Tuesday morning.
