'Vegan' pizzas, pasties and macaroni recalled from Iceland amid fears they contain milk

Iceland is urgently recalling a range of "vegan" products over fears they contain milk.

Customers are being urged to the return items that were sold as having "no cheese" but may actually contain dairy - which was not listed as an ingredient.

This poses a potential health risk to those who suffer from an allergy or intolerance to milk, or milk constituents.

It is also highly problematic for vegans who may have consumed the products, as they don't eat dairy for ethical reasons.

The recall notice says: "Iceland is recalling NO CHEESE products because they may contain milk which is not mentioned on the labels.

"This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents."

The products include pizza, pasties and macaroni listed below.
