A vegan market is coming Glasgow and is set to be held at Scotland's national football stadium.
The Glasgow Vegan Market is taking place at Hampden Park in September and will feature over 100 stalls selling a range of items from food and drinks to cosmetics and skin care.
There will also be gluten-free options throughout.
The family-friendly event is set to promise "a day packed full of educational and inspirational charities and organisations, or simply a market with no need for label-checking."
Featured stalls at this year’s vegan market include Glasgow-based skincare company Temple de Luna, whose range is handmade and 100% natural, vegan and cruelty-free.
Other Glasgow stall-holders include Mama’s Wee Bakery, who produce custom vegan cakes, cupcakes and treats, Mayze cafe, who cater to vegetarian and vegans, Humane Human, who make tote bags, t-shirts and prints and Red Deer Apparel, who offer sustainable and ethical clothing.
Vegan Events UK, who will host the market, was founded in 2017 with the aim of promoting veganism.
Their aim is also to help fund the vegan-led animal welfare charity, Miracle’s Mission, who are trying to set up a dedicated Disabled Animal Rehabilitation Centre.
The centre will provide care for the most vulnerable dogs and cats who will receive veterinary assessments, MRIs, surgeries, prosthetics, and doggy wheels.
Entry for adults cost £4 each and children under 16 get free entry. It will run from 10.30am to 4.30pm on September 25.
The venue has a free car park, disabled access and allows service dogs.
Entry is £4 payable on the day on the door (under 16’s free) or £15 for VIP tickets in advance from Eventbrite. The VIP ticket includes fast track entry and a goody bag full of vegan products, samples, discounts and offers.
