Vegan Edinburgh: Plant-based pizza pop-up coming to Leith Walk Police Box

A new vegan pop-up will be coming to Leith's iconic police box this month - with 100 per cent plant based pizzas.

Pizza and Dreams are coming to the space on Leith Walk for the whole of Monday 15 February with their vegan offerings as part of the Police Box's Meat Free Mondays series.

All pizzas are made with 48 hour rested dough, fired at 500 degrees and covered in toppings free from any animal products.

For lovers of the classics, the 'Mini Bar' is Pizza and Dreams' original margarita offering with a tomato base, fresh basil and coconut mozzarella.

The John McClane (yes, they've named it after Die Hard) comes with vegan haggis, a beetroot base, cranberry sauce, vegan feta, spinach and crispy onions.

And for those that can handle spice the Threat Level Midnight (named after that notorious Office USA episode) is covered with red paprika 'sausage', jalapenos, chilli oil, coconut mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and buffalo hot sauce.x

Pizzas can be preordered to collect at pizzaanddreams.hello@gmail.com but there will be a safe Covid rule compliant queue system on the day.

Pizza and Dreams will be at the Leith Walk Police Box from 12-7pm on Monday 15 February.
