Vegan ACT and Canberra Animal Save have joined forces to fundraise for bushfire affected animal sanctuaries and sanctuaries involved in treating affected animals.
On April 4, the not-for-profits will host the Bush Fire Relief Gala at Majura Hall from 6:30-10pm. The night will include entertainment, bushfire survival stories, raffles and the chance to raise awareness on the work of Canberra's sanctuaries.
Billie Dean Deep Peace trust, Disposable Heroes Rooster Sanctuary, Little Oak Sanctuary, Peanuts Wellbeing Sanctuary, Possumwood Wildlife, Sleepy Burrows Wombat Sanctuary, Sydney Fox and Dingo Save, Two Thumbs Wildlife Trust and Whisker Woods are all set to benefit.
- Tickets are $120 each or $1100 for a table of 10. It includes a drink on arrival and a three-course dinner. Tickets are available through Ticketbud.
