Thailand has crowned its new beauty queen, with Veena Praveenar Singh from Saraburi winning the title of Miss Universe Thailand 2025.
The pageant took place over the weekend in Bangkok, where representatives from all 77 provinces competed for the crown.
After the initial selection, the field was reduced to 20 contestants, followed by swimsuit and evening gown presentations leading to the Top 10. The finalists were then further shortlisted to the Top 5, who faced a question-and-answer round before the Top 3 were announced.
Emerging as the winner, 32-year-old Veena Singh secured the crown, with Praewwanich Ruangthong of Bangkok named first runner-up and Narumon Pimphakdee of Phuket taking second runner-up.
Veena’s win this year comes after a long journey in the pageant world. She first competed in Miss Universe Thailand in 2018, finishing as second runner-up. In 2020, she was first runner-up. In 2023, she was appointed Miss Universe Thailand Phuket, where she was second runner-up before later losing the title.
Veena will now represent Thailand at the Miss Universe 2025 pageant later this year, where she will compete on the international stage for the global crown.
